Our Story

In 2018, Tim White and his wife, Elizabeth Brush, acquired Aqua Vita Spas and moved to Steamboat Springs, CO with the goal of creating a [TODO]. Aqua Vita Spas has been Steamboat’s preeminent spa and sauna sales, maintenance and service provider since 1979.

Tim and a partner formed Rocky Mountain Hot Tub Holdings (RMHTH) to acquire, build and grow a portfolio of best-in-class hot tub businesses including Aqua Vita Spas and in 2023 acquired Mountain Hot Tub. A nationally recognized leader in the spa industry, Mountain Hot Tub operated hot tub dealerships in Bozeman, Big Sky, Helena, and Butte, MT. Originally founded by Tom Walker and Scott Smith in 1979 and then led by Kelly and Shirley King since 2012, Mountain Hot Tub has been the regional choice for hot tubs and spas for more than 40 years.

Since the acquisition by RMHTH, Mountain Hot Tub has opened two greenfield locations in Missoula and Whitefish, MT in 2024 while RMHTH has expanded its footprint in Colorado to Aspen, Snowmass, Carbondale and Basalt through the 2024 acquisition of Crystal River.
